Description
Starting at Community Mission of Hope, this route for experienced riders follows the Santa Gertrudis Creek Trail from Harveston to Sommer's Bend.

After a jaunt through wine country, the road winds through the cliffs of East Benton, finally reaching the equestrian community of Oakridge Ranches at the far end.  After an intimidating climb up Mesa Road, past Rancho Damacitas, enjoy a six-mile descent through the Deportola wineries.

The route continues down Pauba Road, through the heart of Temecula, before looping down to Vail Ranch, through Wolf Valley and the Great Oak Trail.

The home stretch takes riders through the idyllic neighborhood of Los Ranchitos, around the back side of Old Town and along the Murrieta Creek Trail.
